Metro
Five lines. Thirty-three stations. Every train on this map is actually running — watch them slow into platforms, hold, and pull away. Departure times are read straight off the wire.
Hover any station for live departures. Dark dots are trains.

Meridian Exchange
Departures are computed from the trains on the map above, not from a schedule. If a train appears late, it is on time by a different clock.

Riding
The system is simple by decree.
One fare. One map. One way to stand on an escalator.
Fares
One ride, any distance, ninety minutes of transfers. The turnstile accepts coins, cards, and correct attitudes.
Unlimited riding until the last train. The city is yours. Return it by morning.
Thirty days, all lines, no counting. For people with somewhere to be, repeatedly.
Children under six ride free. So do dogs that fit in bags, and retired employees of the Authority.
Hours
| Monday – Thursday | 05:10 – 01:40 |

| Friday – Saturday | 05:10 – 03:00 |
| Sunday | 06:00 – 01:00 |
| A · Harbor Line | All night |
The Harbor Line runs through the night because the harbor does not close. First trains leave the termini simultaneously; the Authority finds this satisfying.
Conduct
- Let passengers off first. This is not a courtesy; it is physics.
- Stand right, walk left. The escalator is a system too.
- Music stays in your ears. The announcements are ours.
- Doors close ten seconds after the chime. The chime is not a negotiation.
- Give up the seat. You know the one.
